It’s bit of a virtue signal theater for plebs but it can also bring forth a change of direction, so even if it feels stupid going to the ballot box engaging in the slave ritual, my advise (in today’s world), after weighing the issue considerably, would be to just swallow the libertarian pride for a moment and get through the few minutes with some deep exhales.

Not voting can show a signal too. If only e.g. 20% of eligible voters vote, the system has less credibility.

But personally I think voting an anti-establishment figure wields more power (problem with these though is that they often get absorbed into the establishment).

The local the better and more important. Municipal elections have higher vibrations than parliament elections.
