This poster reads when you overcome an obstacle, it will become part of your foundation.

What have you overcome thus far? And how have the lessons you have gleaned seeped into out psyche?

Most importantly: being at peace with (currently) incurable sickness and 24/7 pain, and staying optimistic, active and continuing to strive for good. It took a few months to get through that psychological battle with the self and face mortality, deal with it, move on.

I’m humbled to hear that.

Is your daily routine impaired in any way?

The old routine is completely impaired of course. But the new routine isn't an impairment or even inferior, except perhaps to some societal / corporate norms. But these latter are perhaps best shrugged away: an HR dept, or society, can impose their norms all they want but that isn't going to enable you. Other people's opinions matter less when you've faced that your time is finite anyway.

That doesn't mean being selfish; it just means you have to focus on finding a path that works for you and shedding unnecessary constraints. Make it work and do some good with the time you have left.

Myself and my past decisions the most, probably.

I wrote about this a bit before, but a lot my challenges are unintentionally self-imposed because I don't like self-impose beyond making sure that I'm doing what I want most of the time.

do you still iterate your daily routine a fair bit or you are more or less locked in on the projects you want to accomplish
