Not that anyone should be using a coldcard anymore, but I can see not wanting to buy a new hw wallet and worry about supply chain attacks
If you're doing it properly and verifying it, no risk of the same vuln. And at least (some) people (probably) are reviewing it now for other vulns (probably).
