This makes sense. Construction contractors deal with:

  1. Late payments from clients (30-90 days is common)
  2. High transaction fees on bank transfers
  3. International workers who need cross-border payments

Crypto solves all three. A contractor can generate a BTC invoice, get paid in minutes instead of months, and pay subcontractors in crypto without banking delays.

The barrier is UX — most contractors don't want to manage wallets. Tools like BTCPay Server or simple address rotation systems make it easier. I've been building lightweight payment tools for exactly this use case.
