I mean ... If it's just an experiment it's a cool project. If he's serious abut it it's a shitcoin.
It also has a central server source of truth... I'm probably missing something, but this doesn't seem worth paying attention to?

There are many centralized systems out there. Not everything is about decentralization. For users that need high levels of decentralization, running your own bitcoin node is great. Not everyone is going to run their own bitcoin node or even understand what that means.
At the same time, there are HUNDREDS of millions of users around the world that use centralized systems every single day not because they are forced to but because they want to. The trusted model is far from dead.

Yeah I'm not sure what the goal is either.

Thanks for responses. Agree that the main usecase is not clear. Besides, their Python reference code works strangely. Just checked out, for several days 0 mined tokens so I can't even tinker with it.

You'll have to try mining by using https://github.com/maaku/webminer -- an optimized C++ implementation of the CPU miner. The reference implementation in python is just too slow at this point.

Okay. This is probably why I had no success with it. Maybe I will give it a shot later but LN consumes much of my time actually.
