"Yugoslavia, in the nineties, experienced one of the worst episode of hyperinflation ever. You would expect them (the serbs) to understand that printing money is not the way forward...But people here see Bitcoin as something that's controlled by foreigners. It's just another foreign power trying to manipulate our people.
They don't understand that Bitcoin's not controlled by anyone...It's controlled by everyone. And they're very skeptical... thanks to big forces NATO interfering with our sovereignty, breaking up the country.
You would expect the Serbs to be kind of switched on to that, but no. The thing is, they are switched onto the fact of not being brainwashed anymore. They're not as brainwashed as, as the west is right now."

I support the prince’s message on Bitcoin. I believe that we will encourage open and thriving trade, unbound by corrupt super powers manipulating monetary standards.
However it is important to state for the record that Yugoslavia was broken up- not by NATO- but by imperialist Serbian aggression and the abuse by the communist leadership ever since gaining power in the 50s.
With the fall of the Soviet Union, the “South Slavs” (Yugoslav) were facing a choice of how to transition out of communism just like the former soviet states. However Serbia attempted to retain control over non-ethnic former territories by military domination.
Croatia was forced to defend itself in 1991 and went on to win the war of independence against Serbia in 1995.
Nato involvement began in Bosnia in 1994 and finally escalated to the bombing of Serbia in 1999 in response to UN-documented war crimes by Serbian forces against the people of Bosnia and Kosovo.
After far too much bloodshed the Serbians finally had to give up their aggressions and accept the self-determination of the peoples of former yugoslavia.
There are no redeeming or good parts of war. Only the peace that follows Justice. A fair international monetary standard is crucial to insuring lasting peace through trade.
