Weekend miles 🏃🏾‍♂️

Today I completed 27.40 km — about 3,092 calories, 57 m elevation, and an average pace of 8:49/km.

But I’m not planning for this to be a one-off. I want to make long-distance running part of my weekends: at least 20 km every Saturday and another 20 km every Sunday.

That means I need to learn how to do this properly — recovery, nutrition, hydration, pacing, what to carry, shoes, electrolytes, and everything else that comes with spending several hours on the road.

Do you do long-distance running: what are your best practices? What do you eat before/during/after? What do you pack for a 20–30 km run?

I’m here to learn. ⚡️
