Lately I have been working on something a little different from my other projects. This time I wanted to bring back the old BBS experience. So I started building SkyLordsLab BBS.

I am trying to recreate the old bulletin board systems with ANSI colors and a classic terminal interface. It has message boards and a guestbook. There is also a file archive and door games. I added both English and Turkish language support. I am building and testing it on my old netbook running antiX Linux. The same netbook I shared here before. The project is still not finished. There are some problems I need to solve and things I want to improve. But seeing this old style interface working on my netbook made me happy. I am curious about something.

Did any of you use BBS systems in the 90s? Is anyone still using or running one today?
