Still keeping up with yoga, but I felt especially low on exercise energy/ambition this week. I think it might be because I had a Buc-ee's burrito and banana pudding for dinner Tuesday and garbage in garbage out.

Next week I'll be in Atlanta. I'll probably bring my yoga mat (I use a travel mat most of the time anyway).

I've noticed becoming more sensitive to crap food also. We had some store-bought white bread last week and I felt more bloated and sluggish after eating it.

I like the theory that we are more protected from junk food when we are young because our genes mostly care about us reproducing. That is, our genes may have adapted to maintain health for reproduction in a short time from, but its largely inconsiderate of healthy aging. So as we age, we need to eat more ancestrally.

I hadn't heard it put exactly like that, but, yeah, natural selection stops being on our side once we get past typical child-rearing ages.
