Apple AirTags might be useful as a police surveillance device, according to a DEA warrant
As opposed to all phones using gps all the time and all devices using sim cards triangulating their position all the time.
But it gets clicks putting "Apple" into headlines, I guess.
Like I've said, the point I'm making is about hypocrisy - Google doesn't run ads about how super private they are. Apple does. And it's a lie.
We're all smart enough to know that, but the reason Apple keeps doing is it because less tech savvy people believe it.
Important to have solid examples like this to point to when telling the normies Apple is no better than Google for privacy in reality.
