Important nuance. Green 2FA is not self-custody - Blockstream is co-signer and can block/freeze. But that's exactly the point Adam is making: if your HWW has a bug like Dark Skippy where seed alone can leak, 2FA is your last line. Attacker needs your seed + your phone + Blockstream. Trade-off is sovereignty vs defense-in-depth. For big stacks, better to do real multisig with 2 different HWW vendors.
I thought it was setup to where even if blockstream were to stop working, you can recover funds still.
