Normies wouldn't use it as freedom money per your definition, they'd either redefine that, or have a different narrative altogether.

For a thought experiment, we'll call that narrative "Predictable Money"

Then consider the BitPaine maxim:

class of perpetually cucked bitcoiner who never understood what Bitcoin winning - what the endgame - looked like ... have crafted their entire personalities around being outcasts and losers

#906514

We already see this dilemma in every adoption cycle, as Bitcoin notches incrementally towards a Predictable Money narrative BitPaine's example class fucks off into altcoins or rage-quit altogether

(AI is just the latest addition to alternative thing with a potentially near-term financial incentive they can occupy themselves with)

Can't bloat the protocol? Ethheads fucked off
Big Companies get involved? BCashers fucked off
MoE and Privacy not realistic? Monerotards fucked off
ETF's and collateralization? This is where the fucking off to AI started

So can Bitcoin be freedom money and normie money simultaneously? I don't see how given freedom money people run from normies.

But is predictable money useful? all the people who have fucked off seem to have wanted money that did what they wanted (that was predictable) while the bitcoin we have is hard to understand and only seems to do one thing: remove the third parties.

But is predictable money useful?

People are using predictable money, so I reckon.

Or is the question you're really asking: "Does predictable money overlap with freedom money?"

I think yes, with the half of your definition I agree with

without being wrecked by inflation

There's a lot to unpack here:

the bitcoin we have is hard to understand and only seems to do one thing: remove the third parties.

I don't think that it is, I just think the desire to understand is low. People are more interested in projecting their wants onto it.

remove the third parties

Case in-point. This is non-understanding. The only 3rd party it eliminates is the issuer, that makes it predictable because issuers are not.
