Every light is a real transaction waiting in the mempool. The higher the fee rate, the closer it sits to the center, which is roughly the next block. A counter estimates how many guesses miners have made since you opened the page. When a block is found, you watch it get sealed, the pool that found it gets named, and it joins the chain all the way back to 2009.

You can also paste your own transaction ID and watch it go from waiting to sealed.

Works on a phone, best on a laptop with the sound on. Live data from mempool.space, and no third-party trackers on the site.

Would love feedback from stackers: what's confusing, what's missing, what you'd want to see next.

Looks great! Thanks for sharing

Thanks! If you send any bitcoin this week, paste the transaction ID in and watch it get sealed. Best part of the site.
