So BTC is back at 80k, and the market is up.
The market see with good eyes the election in USA.
Don´t confuse that the market is socialist or populist, it´s just capitalist.
The market sees more money with these policies at expenses of the lower classes.
Meaning more money issuing, interest rates, lower duties, more consumption, more debt.
All stock up by inflation effect and Gold & Bitcoin up by protection from USD/EUR value.
My wife watching me, all proud, as I replace the bathroom shower fixture.
Meanwhile, I’m going up and down the ladder to pretend I’m doing some hard labor—even though I actually finished about 10 minutes ago.
wouldn't she be more impressed if you did it fast?

Paraguay just shut down its biggest bank by customers.
Almost 3 million of them lost the app, the cards and every service OVERNIGHT.
My family's savings got frozen in Argentina in 2001, right next door.
That's a big reason most of my savings sit in bitcoin I hold myself.

In Science, we often talk about the spaces between different forms of matter. How air occupies the spaces between marbles, for instance, such that the mass is less than the combined mass of the air and the marbles.
I like the idea of spaces. Not just for Science, but also for life.
A weak kid tried out some grammar MCQs on his way to class before morning assembly. Went through the mistakes for two bright sparks during power break. Got the son to try a compre passage while waiting for me to be released from the level meeting. I can’t help every student every day, but I can help some of them in the brief intervals where school life takes a breather and I get to make my move. Like a python consuming a monitor lizard.
Personally, I also made use of my spare periods to consolidate my stuff and shape my disorderly office mess into some semblance of order. Uploaded some food waste photos onto my allocated folder so that I could delete them from my phone. It’s an excruciatingly painful process, but I’ve got this.
It's 2am in Tripoli and I can't sleep.
My brain is not resting. I'm thinking about money, about family in Nigeria, about how to sell my iPhone XR without losing my iCloud photos.
So instead of scrolling TikTok, I opened Stacker News.
I'm Nigerian living in Libya. No bank here makes it easy to send small money home. Western Union eats 25% for $20. Lightning did it for almost nothing.
That is why I'm here. I want to learn how to stack properly, how to off-ramp to Naira without getting scammed, and how to use Bitcoin for real life, not just charts.
If you were me, starting from 0 sats in Libya, what would you do first?
What was your first real Bitcoin payment for?
