Hoping for BIP 118. SIGHASH_ANYPREVOUT should enable Eltoo and make Lightning even more scalable and secure.
Likewise, I would love simpler state management in lightning. I'm surprised LN folks aren't pushing for it more aggressively, but it could have to do with it being more vulnerable to mempool attacks given the removal of the penalty.
