Other people can host the Bitcoin whitepaper, but they could change it. To verify it's correct it would be nice if a hash was published at bitcoin.org. What do you think?

I guess bitcoin.org can also be taken over. Maybe the hash could be engraved onchain?

Making a hash of a PDF document is a pretty good idea. A modified PDF could contain a virus.
