I feel like I'm going to regret listening to a verge podcast...
The "tech" press is so full of second handers. Followers. So few real thinkers.
David seems like he gets it. Good to hear. Maybe this will reach some of the tech knuckleheads. My favorite part was when he says Paypal bought Venmo 10 years ago and you still can't send money between the two. This is the kind of thing I tell my tech savy friends who only see bitcoin as a stock. Regardless of the current exchange rate bitcoin has real functional value. When you have a solid money you can build all kinds of valuable tools on top of it. So bullish on the future of bitcoin.

Well, I should have known. This dude and his company are bad news for bitcoin. Another guy who want to surveil Bitcoiners. If the Verge is gonna have him on I should have know he was gonna be a gov shill.

The reason I wanted to hear what David had to say is that he isnt a Bitcoin Maxi which makes him neutral ...... however his actions indicate he is
