I have a Jade and a Ledger Nano X. Both are solid devices but I have a preference for the Jade (and Blockstream Green).
  • Jade is less expensive
  • It's Bitcoin only (ok, plus Liquid), which I personally want in a hardware wallet.
  • Being Bitcoin only has usability benefits too. The UI is less busy, no need to 'enter bitcoin mode'. And I prefer knowing that the manufacturer has less to focus on, which tends to mean more solid software and smaller attack surface area.
  • I like the rocker and single button interface on the Jade better than the Ledger's two-button interface. Confirming an action with a single button press versus pressing two buttons simultaneously just feels more deliberate to me. (not that I've ever made a mistake on the Ledger due to this - the Jade's button just provides a nicer way to interact IMO)
I placed my faith in the provided blind oracle, because I trust the team making this device, and knowing that you can provide your own by itself creates trust for me (and I may avail of that at some point).
