A few days ago I interviewed Nopara73 on my podcast. He is the founder of Wasabi Wallet and the operator of their default coordinator node.
Wasabi recently announced they will be filtering the inputs that request access to their coinjoin protocol against chain analysis databases.
This has of course resulted in great controversy and plenty of discussion about what it means for the popular wallet.
Well here is our conversation, we discussed:
  • Why and how of UTXO filtering
  • Toradnado cash dev arrest
  • Samurai Wallet drama
We also discussed fungibility and it's meaning in terms of legality and technology, alongside the cyberpunk axiom that information wants to be free.
On that topic, I mentioned a research essay I wrote for Bitcoin Magazine many moons ago. I'll add that link to the comments.
For now, here is the podcast, let me know what you think.
