can you just use a vpn instead or tor? I'm ignorant, but that seems like it would be a ton faster for the initial download
You can use a VPN but it probably isn't as anon as tor, but that isn't usually built into apps like umbrel. You could even download over the internet without tor or a VPN, it just exposes your VPN to the world and lets them know you are running a btc node.
