I'm new to lightning but have a huge passion and drive to promote btc adoption in my community. I've identified btcmap.org as a good way to let travelers and businesses know who is accepting sats and for what.

But I notice there's only a small fraction of businesses on there. Everyone has separate maps or systems... We need to unite and rely on one map to ensure it becomes well used.

Why aren't people using btcmap.org more? Is there a better service out there I dont know about? It just needs a bit of knowledge to add a tag to a openstreetmap point of interest to edit the map, its super fast and works really well.....

Just curious on thoughts!
