A recent report from China’s Global Times reveals that Zhou Yu, an international finance research director at the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, believes that the proposed BRICS cross-border currency is a significant step in challenging the dominance of the U.S. dollar. Zhou asserts that the recent initiatives to promote local currency settlement have provided BRICS countries with a competitive advantage in diminishing the influence of the greenback in global trade.

Rod Slasher 23 minutes ago edited At the moment we all know the much despised USD will still be dominant in the near future. The Democrats will not give up easily and they'll fight the global opposition using the vilest gutter tactics possible, along with 24/7 lies and propaganda. That's why it's so important that as many countries as possible get on board with BRICS.
However I foresee the end of the USD dominance sometime after 2026, whether the Repubs win 2024 or not, whether there is a June Default or not, whether Trump or Desantis take the WH or not. The damage is done, and the world won't forget how the US Marxists and Marxist Revisionists weaponised the dollar.
