[For my personal mining we have a floating energy contract, and] we are hitting 70 cents per KWh. You can't mine on this ridiculous energy price, it's impossible.
For the greenhouses it's below 10 cents.

It's time to fight back and just say: I'm going to buy a miner, I'm going to write off the energy cost, and I'm going to get some sats. I'm going to protect my business and my family.
If more businesses do that, this thing can really decentralize, and that would be a really exciting thing to watch play out.

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Bert de Groot, a based bitcoiner who runs two bitcoin only business and is doing what he can to orange pill his community.
In this conversation we discus bitcoin, mining, and the circular economy, we also talked about what originally lead him down this rabbit hole and why he loves it.
Bert has been mining in Holland and using the heat generated to heat greenhouses where he grows beautiful flowers that are then sold for sats.
I really love seeing individuals pushing this movement forward and leading by example,
I really hope you enjoy the show and please reach out if you have any questions.
