Perhaps this is another big plus of Nostr, building that social network of trust that can underpin areas like Lightning where trust is required.

There are far more mischievous ways you can grief on lightning like channel pinning or settling HTLCs out of band.

Node runners who scrutinize who they open channels with will be fine.
