I had to ditch my tor relay and get new IP address in order to connect to one lightning node. I only found out after chatting with the operator of that node that yes, tor relays are the problem for Comcast, he says they already blocked and unblocked tor several times.

My relay is running again, but in obfs4 mode.

Anyone would like to file a complaint with FCC or similar? Libertarians may complain to their dispute resolution org. (I do not live in the land of the "free", so may lack standing.) I see this as false advertising - do they promise internet connection, or connection to just "approved" IP addresses? Blocking tor would not be surprising in Russia, but in USA? I know, in Russia it is done by the state, in USA it is done only by private company. Still, censorship in the USA, even if just by private company, could raise some eyebrows.

Or could there be another way to punish those blockers? I though about getting new IP every day while running a normal tor relay (or even restricted tor exit), thus blacklisting as many IP addresses as possible. But my ISP would not be happy about this, at least if it was effective (another customer of my ISP gets IP which I caused to be blacklisted -> he complains -> effective, but then my ISP can find out it was my fault). And not very practical with lightning node also running, perhaps it is time for me to put lightning node behind VPN.
