Assuming you don't buy any alcohol, that's probably the best deal. The moment you buy one glass you're way off :)

Depending on where you are in the world, there are two cheap ways to acquire steaks ime:

1. from a local producer in bulk
2. weekly beef sales as loss leaders at supermarkets
    - e.g. in CA, Safeway/Albertsons every 6 weeks or so would have Choice Ribeye at $5.99/lb (on coupon) and we'd buy several uncut ribeye whole sides that were still in the packaging from the suppliers (meat departments didn't seem to mind it)
