I was interested but never pulled the trigger. I don’t have long enough sustained need for the heating to justify the cost. Plus, it seemed the general impression was that for the price, the mining hardware was quite dated. Would love to hear some first hand experiences though!

Too expensive. It's a huge investment, and the miner will just be outdated in a few months assuming network dificulty keeps increasing like it's rn.
