There was a link to a Facebook video from wsfoxley's Twitter thread, but appears that video has been deleted. Not sure why, but there were questions if that video was even for that facility.
A CoinDesk article on this event:
“Fortunately, nobody was hurt. Our operation was not the cause and was located far enough away from the incident that the damages to Crusoe’s facilities were minimal,”
Crusoe Energy, [...] has several sites across the U.S., including in North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and Colorado, where it uses wasted natural gas to power bitcoin mining rigs. Crusoe’s customers include Devon Energy (DVN), Kraken Oil & Gas, Canadian oil firm Enerplus (ERF) and others.
North Dakota passed a bill last year incentivizing oil and gas companies to stop flaring by providing a tax rebate for using a flare mitigation system that captures a specified percentage of gas at the site.
