Many times again and again, most posts talk about this strange concept of financial freedom (FF) and today I want to make a call about it, something doesn't feel good when we talk about this matter per se. Main reason? There's no such thing as FF because it's a clickbait, only financial welfare and here is why.

Let's check the dictionary what freedom means:

So, let's see. What we're saying is freedom to do things without ask for permission and don't have any doubts with the State, hence the second definition of not being in prison. The actual derivative of FF is this idea of Robert Kiyosaki's FIRE (Financial independence, retire early) which I'm not saying is not reachable but it has nothing to do with freedom per se, what are you talking about is welfare. Here's why.

So, why is important to understand these concepts? We can't confuse welfare with freedom because you are already free. The chances that you're reading outside the jail or without being in house arrest are high, meaning you're not being censored. So why you're not feeling free? Because the actual economic system taugh you need to spend in order to achieve happiness and you don't seem that way. It's the difference between what you think and what you really need.

This is why stacking sats is a strange exercise at first because you're not spending but saving for future. And saving is not something usual in this system, they tell us to consume, to invest but not save money. And now, they're selling us this strange concept of FF where you can live without work, put your money and live from yield farming, APR returns and so on..we know that's bullshit.

It's simple: you're happy building your future because as Odell puts it: life is hard but bitcoin is easy. Want to build your own auto-sustentable farm in th middle of the desert? Do it Want to live with a backpack traveling around the world? Do it Want to live in a mansion with two Lambos? Do it

Whatever make you happy, pursuit it.

Welfare is subjective, most people need too much and some people don't, but what we have all in common is this: you need hard money to build this. And there is bitcoin to help you. Always remember, the final pursuit in this life is to be happy in the real way (your way), not the WEF's path. So, my friend, don't chase financial ghosts, build the future, stack sats and most important thing at all: be happy.
