Governments won't directly try to come after people's bitcoin, they'll just pump Blackrock bitcoin ETFs and sway people's money away from self-custody, only for them to later discover they're holding paper bitcoin.

Agreed. We don't want ETFs unless they can show proof of funds. Luckily with Bitcoin that's very easy to do. We shouldn't settle for less.
