Discussion I've seen so far about it was "APO is a very simple change, but (in terms of how easy it is to create programs around it) the things people want to do with it are easier to do using CTV (You need CTV + CSFS to do eltoo if you go that route)"
And then some other people chime in "Lets review all the covenent proposals being created so we can evaluate everything! (even the ones that are not done being written yet) which obviously is a lot of mental overhead to get through.

But is the most quick and easy solution than anything other "proposal to save bitcoin".
Is just about putting all smart heads together and make them talk each others (instead of fighting on twatter).
