While current quantum computers are not yet practical, Intel aims to reach a few thousand qubits in the next few years and a million qubits by the early to mid-2030s

Now that's what I call a pipedream. Whether it's AGI or general-purpose quantum computers, they repeatedly say "in the next few years", until they run out of suckers willing to pay them money for nothing.
