I am just thinking of unintended consequence. Would there need to be a minimum amount set to prevent people "spamming" SN lightning node with 1 sat payment?
I don't understand what the issue is with "spamming" the SN node with 1 sat payments from a technical perspective.
Is it about creating a lot of 1 sat invoices (and never paying them - but then I guess the amount doesn't matter) or about actually paying a lot of 1 sat invoices?
Good point @ekzyis, the size payment probably doesn't matter. You are correct I was refereeing to the number of invoice that might be generated. Now one at least have to have an account to generator an invoice or a LN Node. vs in the future just a web browser. Maybe a time cool down based on IP address would be a easy check.
As always this is hypothetical and may never been a real issue.
