The things I do to earn crypto for "free" (sure it costs me time, but I do these things anyway)
Since I got into crypto, I got interested in the ways I could earn something for actions I already do routinely. Here's what I found and currently use:
  • Brave Browser: you can earn BAT while navigating the web. overall I think it's a good browser and I've switched to using it as my go to.
  • Immortal Game: it's a chess website with a play-to-earn component. There are daily tournaments with prices in ETH and CMT (the platform token). There are also NFTs of chess pieces that grant you access to bigger prices in the weekly leaderboard. personally I'm awful at chess, but if I've got time on a train to play a couple of rounds, why not it's fun and I'm being paid.
  • SWEAT. I really like the idea of move-to-earn and I'm excited to see how this kind of project will develop in the future.
  • Reddit (boo, hiss): Moons are a great reward for doing something you would already do.
  • SN: if you're reading this you know already what Stacker.News is.
  • Fountain: you can sync it with Spotify to get all your favourite podcasts and then earn sats just for listening to your normal podcasts. More sats are available via promotions which is where I found out about SN. Your sat distribution per day is random, sometimes it's 1 sat per minute, other times i've had 9 sats per minute.
  • Learn and earns: the coinbases etc that offer a 2 minute or so presentation on a coin/token and then a quiz. Pass the quiz, earn some of the coin/token.
Are there apps other apps you use and can recommend?
What are Reddit moons? ETA: I also use and recommend the Bitcoin magazine app. Bitcoin Miner app can also get you 500 sats per day, redeemed through ZEBEDEE wallet. Not too bad but definitely a time sink

In a sub called r/cryptocurrency you get rewarded in "moons" directly related to the "karma" you generate on that sub. There's another sub that does something called bricks but I don't know anything about that.

post interesting content to Nostr and get zapped
apps include amethyst, onyx (not the sex toy) and plebstr
there's also an apple version (Damus), that has rave reviews, but - it requires apple.
