Great watch. Thanks. If you are a net recipient, how frequently would the 3000 sat fee need to be paid? Is it viable to set a merchant up with this wallet given they'll need to occasionally lose 3000 sats on a sale?

Amazing video as always Ben.
The only thing is that in order to stay as simple as possible you have to imply at the beginning that once you've opened a channel you are "connected to the network' and you don't have to pay opening fees anymore.
But actually it's what is the most confusing about Phoenix, and people are often surprised to "receive less" that what they asked in the invoice because of the opening fees.
I know you speak about it in the "Advanced/Technical details" section, but somehow I think we should find a way to explain it clearly even to the beginners, otherwise they feel "scammed" by the fees of the app (I've seen it many times sadly)

Interesting. This appears to be similar to the goals with the Mutiny wallet. Good to know there are multiple projects trying to solve some wallet self custody pain points on LN!
