I would love to see something built on a Chaumian Mint. Even though I watched this talk, it's unclear to me how a mint might be applied in a traditional custodial application. I understand you can put Bitcoin in and move it between participants privately, but how does it work practically.

How does a user determine their balance? How do they send funds to other users? Other than holding the mint, what information does the federation have?
