Since there is still no sports sub or separate site for that matter (which would be ideal), stacker sports will now reside under meta until it gets some "respect around here" (rodney dangerfield voice).
So shill me your best Damian Lillard non Miami trade ideas.
or Shill me your best MLB trades for the upcoming trade deadline.
Everyone who responds gets 10sats and best responses get more (how much more? who knows? depends what coffee pod goes into the Keurig tomorrow and how fired up I am-haha).
Dame to OKC for Chet Holmgren, and a shit ton of picks. Shai can play shooting guard, and they have cap space.

I like it.

The framework of a Dame trade that makes sense to me is a three-way with Brooklyn where Miami takes back bad salary in lieu of more positive assets.
Basically, the Heat trade Herro for Ben Simmons and a couple firsts, which get forwarded to Portland along with Miami's picks and Kyle Lowry, Duncan Robinson, and any young assets Portland wants.
I tried to figure out how to get Nurkic thrown in as another bad contract, but it's tough to come up with something.

I like it. We will see.

Or Dame to Toronto for Pascal Siakam & OG Anunoby.

I think the Raps should go after Dame but hard to imagine they will part with both Pascal and OG. Raps tend to overvalue their players and their players tend to be more valuable in this style of play that Masai is trying to create where the entire floor is comprised of 6'9 guys that can play every position or whatever the hell they are trying to do.

This doesn’t pertain to trades but NCAAF is going to shit with conference realignments and transfer portal. College football used to be more fun to watch, but it’s just getting worse by the year. /end-rant

I don't watch much college football. Usually just the bowl games. Thanks for the heads up on the changes.

Trade the entire Detroit Lions team for Matthew Stafford and throw in Megatron + Barry Sanders. Even in their current age and condition, I’d be doing cartwheels

I thought the Lions were pretty good last year. Selling short on them already?

I like to remain positive, but the emotional toll from 35+ years of rooting for them would almost always give a person PTSD. It’s hard to forget how excited and worked up we got when they drafted Joey Harrington. I’ve just seen it a thousand times at this point, lol

I think they will make the playoffs this year. NFC north is wide open. Vikings are overrated, Bears should be better than last year but not a competitor yet and Green Bay should be decent but QB is a big question mark.

This definitely makes me feel a little better, it’s always good to get opinions from less traumatized observers than me
