I keep telling people privacy is dead. How can you ever hope to have it in a world that literally does not want it? I think we have to come to terms with that. The benefits of convenience far outweigh the costs in the moment.
I give Meta credit where it is due though. Amazing marketing move. Diabolically genius way to immediately wash away all the bad blood between Meta and the public. It worked so incredibly well.
And the crazy part? Threads will rug pull with similar BS in the future.
