actually, covid was a massive success, generated a whole bunch of new income streams and financed (with public money) new drugs / research companies around the globe

border security was "improved", we got everyones dna (I mean, tested for covid), and many politicians got deservedly rich too

anyways like you say, it's over now, and the new money to be made is in destroying (then rebuilding) Ukraine as part of the war between the US and Russia
