You can definitely explain merits in stories but "the narrative" is usually a pejorative, i.e. something negative. Scarcity is good for a money. We could definitely put stories about scarcity or it's opposite of money printing to use. I just don't count on such stories to consistently drive the transition to Bitcoin as the new global reserve currency.
