I don't love the framing, as I've trained in martial arts most of my life. However, as with soccer and baseball, my enjoyment from participation doesn't translate to spectating.
Btw, this was buried pretty far down in my feed today. I thought the Meta thread had finally successfully rooted out the sports takeover.
