I've been reading about the upcoming US presidential election and the candidates' views on Bitcoin.
There are different opinions among the presidential candidates about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Some of them are openly supportive of Bitcoin, such as Robert Kennedy Jr., Vivek Ramaswamy, and Ron DeSantis. Others are more skeptical or critical of Bitcoin, such as Joe Biden and Donald Trump. And some have not expressed their stance clearly yet, such as Nikki Haley and Chris Christie.
Therefore, it is hard to predict whether the next president of the US will be pro Bitcoin or not. It may depend on many factors, such as the public opinion, the regulatory environment, the economic situation, and the geopolitical context. However, one thing is certain: Bitcoin has become a topic of interest and debate in the US politics, and it will likely continue to be so in the future.
What do you think about Bitcoin and its role in the US economy? Do you have a favorite candidate for the next president? I would love to hear your thoughts.
I think Bitcoin's role in the US economy will continue to be primarily as an outside option that the Fed has to be concerned about.
I'm rooting for RFK Jr and Vivek because they're both good on the most important issues and really articulate on them.
