When I hear the name Satoshi Nakamoto, I am thinking we are talking a about a person that is verifiable. For years now I have been hearing that name but I cannot put a face or personality to it. How can someone develop a whole Bitcoin that is the foundation of every crypto and shit coin you can think of and his identify is shrouded this much.
We have CEOs and inventor and heads of corporations who, despite trying to live a private life, their Identities are plastered anywhere you look on social media. But Satoshi Nakamoto has succeeded in making himself anonymous and no one can single him out for honour that he deserves.
Wherever he is or whoever he is, I just want to appreciate him for developing the Bitcoin which has given birth to so many innovations which has given us the freedom of transacting borderless, without government control.
The power the cryptocurrency give the average individual on the street is commendable. Because of crypto you don't have to deal with the bottlenecks associated with traditions forms of payment, especially the one that has to do with transacting someone in another country, and you and them don't have to know each other.
And the fact that those from the rural areas in third world countries can transact without having to go through sometimes excruciating demands of financial institutions in order to be banked.
All of that has been removed by cryptocurrency. All thanks to a man that has made himself disappear without traces; living out the essence of his creation - the Bitcoin/crypto - which let's you transact anonymously.
What are you thoughts about this faceless guy, Satoshi Nakamoto???
Small group of dedicated people who put ideas above their personal gain.

Then how did Satoshi Nakamoto come into this???

duckducking around the web, I found out that Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudonym for the person or people who developed Bitcoin, authored the bitcoin white paper, and created and deployed bitcoin's original reference implementation.
So... Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudonym
But yep… if you find the answer to your question, let us know :)

Now this is new knowledge to me. Never researched to this extent. But then, why would a group of people's identity be shrouded behind a pseudo-name. Don't they want the recognition like any great scientist would? I wouldn't do something groundbreaking like Bitcoin and not want my glory to shine forth. Anyway, to each his own. I am sure they have their good reason for wanting to remain anonymous. By the way, your reply has given me insight how I should go about my research of this pseudo name, Satoshi Nakamoto. Thanks for your response.

No sometimes, especially when dealing with government and social constructs, you probably do not want to be identified and put in jail. Bitcoin is a system that disconnect money from governments, like the printing press separated church (religion) from state/kingdom (governance).
Bitcoin is about un-learning whatever you have known until now, put it over the table and look at it from a distance... at some stages forget about that, and start to learning about and projecting your life into the future with different values.
You are about to start a learning journey that will keep you busy. Enhance your curiosity and keep asking questions... are free :)

that was the name the group chose as their identifier.

And that is one smart way to remain anonymous. And I am guess this guy's behind the Bitcoin must be quietly rich now.

Or dead maybe

Some people think Hal Finney was one of the members of the group. He died of disease years ago. However I can also imagine nefarious behavior, maybe by clandestine forces.

To be fair, they probably personally gained plenty. They just weren't greedy.
reply
You are right. Beside, they have done humanity a great favour.
reply
Probably, but that was luck.
