This is straight up propaganda. Inflation is soaring and they give this propaganda to allow people to dream of better times and keep them in place. But electricity is already dirt cheap to produce in massive quanities. It is only expensive because of taxation and regulation + the costs to maintain the energy grid. If you figured out a way to produce electricity for free will only see a marginal decrease in the price you pay because most of it are taxes, and costs associated with transporting the enregy to you.
