Aaron Swartz, the internet activist, programmer, and co-founder of Reddit. Bitcoin was still relatively new and not as mainstream as it is today during his lifetime. Swartz was deeply involved in many areas of the digital world, especially concerning internet freedom, data liberation, and the fight against the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA).
Given his passion for decentralization, open access, and internet freedom, it's conceivable that Swartz might have had an interest in or even been supportive of the ideals behind Bitcoin and other decentralized technologies. Did not have found any source or concrete record about it. Not even sure, at some stage, maybe he has being exposed to it? Do anyone know?
That's the beauty of Bitcoin, if you don't want others to know, they can't know you have it.

What if he didn't get it? Then how would you feel?
What if he did get it? Would that make a difference?

Someone that might know what Aaron's views on bitcoin were, is Paul Graham.
(Not that it really matters, @parrot. Sometimes these things are just interesting in and of themselves. Probably why it's called trivia.)
Paul is probably best known as an early investor in both Reddit and Hacker News and has a great blog where he sometimes mentions bitcoin (and seem to "get it" quite well).
Anyway, I found it interesting that he credits Aaron Swartz by name on his blog's RSS feed:
Can't recall ever seeing that on any other blog. And of course, RSS is almost synonymous with Aaron Swartz...

I think he was very naive in his political views. he supported Elizabeth Warren and believed he can change the system for the better from the inside. really tragic story :(
