Privacy? I still remember my IRL friends saying to use things like FB, snap, Insta, Twitter etc!
Tried educating them but failed at it :( Like about data brokers, using custom ROM, about giving permissions etc.
But now some are realizing about it now!

same. I tried and left the big social networks years before my peers. attempt to preserve my privacy as much as possible:
  • ask who is called if someone calls and asks for me
  • fake number for all rewards, or no rewards
  • unique email per service
  • block js by default
  • block entire CIDR blocks etc
