I've been working on DR for Lightning nodes for a couple of weeks now and the idea of having to start over with all channels closed and funds on-chain again is not great.

Granted, way better than losing your funds, but still : )

If you've invested a lot of time and effort into a commercial or a routing node, this would be so much better.
