I was reading the FAQ about what happens when you flag a post. Seems like the changes are local, to that particular post. Is there anything that happens at the user level, e.g., if a user is consistently an abusive asshole and gets flagged a lot, is there anything in the way the incentives are laid out that would a) bring that user to the admin's attention, or b) algorithmically 'turn down' the volume on that user?
To save us all having to flag the same bad actor repeatedly, when someone posts we start the post with their median "vote score" if their median vote score is less than zero (and we start the post with zero if their median vote score >= 0). This is effectively auto-flagging and from its definition only affects posters where more than half of their content has been flagged by the community.
