Before this I already knew the phrase "not your keys, not your coins," albeit with a more contentious "C" word. But being on Nostr has supercharged my knowledge in a way I didn't ever feel was possible, and it's incredible to have nearly all my Bitcoin (and another) in either a hardware wallet or now Phoenix.

Big ups to the Nostr and Stacker News communities, along with Jack Mallers and Strike for being the best onboarders newbies or intermediate hodlers have towards full ownership.
