SN it's a great platform and I'm so glad to be part of it, at the same time, I do not want it to go away, nor I want it to become the next techGiant. becoming so, it will become exposed to possible legal processes and maybe shut down?
I know, lot needs to happen to make this nightmare possible. Just curious if you guys are planning it in future development?
I've been reading about possible nostr integration, it will be great and it will cause SN to have less responsibilities on data. but it will be enough?
What if bitcoin become illegal? ATM SN is a custodial service, would be a consideration to enable users to connect their own wallet in the future?

Nostr could be a fallback for the data and the custody of the funds could fall back into a federated mint that is blinded, there's still a lot of benefits to centralisation of the service, its fast and easy to onboard.
SN also has a tor version for those who might be banned from accessing it already

IMO, there's no problem keeping things the way as they are. As someelse commented, SN is fast and easy.
About the SATs here, as soon as they reach an amount, withdraw it.
Not everything needs to be on NOSTR.l, descentralized and so on...

Exactly that... I like it too, I mean the UX is so easy, the site load with any type of slow connection really easily. I'd not change the experience and design, the user will not feel the difference if not by addig few steps on the onboarding process:

I don't think this idea ruins SN, think about all the licenses and admin bullsh*t it will be required in case. and if at some stage bitcoin is regulated somehow, I truly believe SN could be regulated as any other big media platform.
